Preparing your Data to Import

Prepare an Excel file with the following fields. Ensure the fields are in the same order.

Journal Line, Account Number, Line Description, Debit (Base), Credit (Base)

Once complete, copy the data from Excel (by selecting the whole rows).

(CTRL+V)

Then select the record where you wish to paste it by clicking on the record indicator and paste the information.

Importing the Journal

Once data is pasted into Experience, click on the 'Check Errors' button.

The system will check if the data is correct and update the 'Check Status' and 'Check Reason' fields accordingly.

Fix any issues (e.g. inexistent nominal account or journal imbalance).

Finally click on the 'Import Journal' button to post the Journal in Experience.

Note: Only Journals in base values can be imported.
