Grandstream - Recording your Messages

This guide explains how you can record your own voice messages and prompts on your Grandstream UCM PBX device.

First step is to login into your UCM via web browser using address and credentials provided to you by EMAX Solutions, then go to PBX Settings/Voice Prompt screen and select Custom Prompt tab.

If you have sound file prepared, choose option Upload. If you want to create new recording selct option Record and on following screen put in name for the recording and extension number that recording will be made on.

Selected extension will ring and instructions on how to record prompt will be played. After recording is done it will appear in list of custom prompts and you can replay, download,re-record or delete it.
