Introduction

This guide explains how you can record your own voice messages and prompts on your Grandstream UCM PBX device.


Getting Started

First step is to login into your UCM via web browser using address and credentials provided to you by EMAX Solutions.

Go to PBX Settings → Voice Prompt screen and select Custom Prompt tab.



Recording a Message

To create a new recording select option Record and on following screen put in a name for the recording and select the Extension Number from where the recording will be made.

Selected extension will ring and instructions on how to record prompt will be played. 

After recording is done it will appear in list of custom prompts and you can replay, download, re-record or delete it.



Uploading a Message

You can use the Upload button to upload a pre-recorded file.
