Introduction

Experience Nextcloud App allows you to sync files between your device and Experience Cloud and vice-versa.

Any files generated on cloud will be visible on your device, and any files you save on your device will be visible on cloud.

Step 1 - Set Up your Experience Nextcloud App Account

Open a browser (Chrome or Edge) and go to www.nextcloud.com

Click on Download and then select Windows download option or MacOs download option depending on your device.

Once the download completes, run the program to install NextCloud.

Use the standard installation options (click next etc) until the application is installed.

Launch NextCloud when asked to do so.

Click on Login

Enter diary.emax.cloud as server address

A browser window will open in your Browser (Chrome or Edge).

Click on Log In.

Click on Forgot Password to obtain your first password

Enter your Experience Cloud Username, and click on Reset Password.

A new password will be sent to your work email account. Follow reset instructions and once done click on Back to Login

Enter your Experience Cloud Username and Password and click on Log in.

Click on the NextCloud icon (bottom right)

Ensure that Skip Folder Configuration is disabled

Right click on the NextCloud icon and select Settings

Click on Add Folder Sync Connection and click Next

Select the folder showing your Name and Surname and click Next

Untick the option Use Virtual files instead of downloading content immediately and click Add Sync Connection
